In what can be expected to be heartwarming news for Dota and Counter-Strike fans alike, celebrated Dota 2 pro and team Nigma star Aliwi “w33” Omar is now engaged to CSGO player and FACEIT admin Lina “Linaaa” Al-Sharif.
The news was initially shared by Linaaa through her social media handles along with an attached picture of their engagement ring.
w33 reposted Linaaa’s story on his own Instagram profile afterward.
The 25-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best midlaners, if not the best midlaner in Dota 2 currently. His most significant achievements include attaining 2nd place finishes in The International twice in 2016 and 2019 respectively.
For the unaware, The International is the biggest Dota 2 tournament organized annually and the biggest tournament in all of esports in terms of the prize pool.
w33 is currently a member of team Nigma alongside former Liquid teammates Amer “Miracle” Al-Barkawi, Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov, Maroun “GH” Merhej, and Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi.
